Lighting Greater Noida since 1993

A joint venture between RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group and Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, NPCL started its operations in December 1993.

Currently, the peak load served is 436 MW in September 2019 as against 17 MW in 1994-95, reflecting a steady increase in consumer demand. The customer base has expanded from 4677 in 1993 to around 98000 in March 2020. The load profile is dominated by large and heavy industries that constitute 55% of energy sale. Urban, rural institutional and smaller industrial consumers account for the rest of the demand.

NPCL introduced online billing and collection in 2009 and an AI driven chatbot 'Saathi' in 2018 to assist the customers to interact with the company.
