About CESC Limited
CESC is a fully integrated power utility with operations spanning the entire value chain -
from coal mining to power generation and distribution. It serves over 3.3 million customers
of Kolkata and Howrah in West Bengal.
It has three thermal power plants in Kolkata - Budge Budge (750 MW), Southern (135 MW),
and Titagarh (240 MW) and one in Haldia (600MW).
The company has ventured into renewable energy through solar and wind power projects in
Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.
